Black gold

The Story: The teak root was transformed into an unexpected beautiful, precious artwork by combining the burned surface with the natural yellowish brown wood colour. The strong contrast transforms the ebony black into a background for the natural wood colour which appears to be gold in appropriate lighting conditions.
